An Accessibility Statement for your Store

Your Accessibility Statement explains the verified state of your Shopify Store to the people who use it. It forms part of your Dossier  and reflects the results recorded in the Audit.

Information your visitors can use

The statement identifies the scope and Store version evaluated, the relevant dates, and the corrections and results that were verified.

It explains known limitations and available alternatives in plain language. It includes the contact details your team has confirmed for reporting an Accessibility barrier or asking for help.

Supported by the Audit

The statement describes verified results. Detailed findings, evidence, corrections, and Retest records remain in the Audit.

If a barrier remains unresolved, including one in an app or widget, the statement identifies the relevant limitation. It does not claim full or permanent conformance.

Publishing your statement

We include the Accessibility Statement in your Dossier. After delivery, you can publish it where you choose.

Keeping the statement current

During the Monitoring included in your service, we update the Accessibility Statement when verified results change the information it contains. Previous versions remain preserved.

Changes to your Store, theme, or apps may require further review before the statement can describe the new state.

Tell us about your Store

Tell us about your Store and what you need help with. We will review your request and explain the next step. No call is required.
