Remediation and Retest for Shopify Stores

We correct confirmed Accessibility barriers in your Shopify theme and retest the changes. Your team does not need to implement these theme corrections or hire another provider to do them.

Agreed work, controlled changes

You receive the confirmed findings before Remediation begins. After your approval, we carry out the theme corrections covered by your agreement, under the agreed terms.

We confirm the working environment and access before making changes. Each correction is linked to a finding. Publishing changes to your live Store requires your specific approval.

Working with app and widget providers

App and widget providers remain responsible for correcting their components. You can manage communication with them or authorize us to coordinate it.

With your authorization, we share the relevant findings and evidence, clarify the problem, and follow up with the provider. We verify delivered corrections within the agreed scope and period.

A finding remains open while the barrier is unresolved, even when the correction depends on a provider.

Retest checks the result

We revisit the original findings on the corrected Store version and check the affected interactions for related problems introduced by the changes.

A finding is marked resolved only when the barrier can no longer be reproduced under the recorded test conditions. A partial correction remains open. If we cannot confirm the result, the report explains why.

A record of what changed

The final Audit preserves the original findings and records the Remediation, evidence before and after the changes, and Retest results. It identifies the version tested and any remaining limitations.

Your Dossier  contains the Audit, Accessibility Statement, and Monitoring. The Accessibility Statement describes only the corrections and final state that were verified, including any remaining limitations.

Monitoring runs for 12 months from Dossier delivery.

What the Retest covers

The Retest covers the agreed findings and affected components, states, and interactions. It is not a new Audit of the entire Store.

Resolving a finding does not establish that no other Accessibility barriers remain. Later changes to your Store, Shopify, or apps may require further review. Work outside the agreed scope is discussed and approved before it begins.
