Accessibility Audit for Shopify Stores
We evaluate the agreed parts of your Shopify Store and explain the confirmed Accessibility barriers. The service continues with the included theme Remediation, Retest, and a Dossier documenting the verified results.
What we evaluate
Before the Audit begins, we agree in writing on the pages, shopping journeys, interactions, and environments to evaluate.
This may include navigation, search and filters, product options, the cart, forms, customer accounts, and a test checkout. We examine relevant states, including open menus, empty results, validation errors, and confirmation messages, on desktop and mobile.
Checks include keyboard navigation, visible focus, reading order, text enlargement, and the information presented to screen readers.
Your confirmed findings
Before Remediation begins, you receive an accessible PDF report identifying the agreed scope and the Store version evaluated.
Each finding explains the barrier, where it occurs, how it affects people using your Store, and how to reproduce it. The report includes evidence, expected behavior, and Remediation guidance.
Apps and widgets are part of the experience
The report includes Accessibility barriers confirmed in apps and widgets within the agreed scope.
We correct the Shopify theme. App and widget providers remain responsible for correcting their components. You can manage communication with them or authorize us to coordinate the work within the agreed scope.
From findings to verified corrections
After you receive the findings and approve Remediation , we carry out the included theme corrections under the agreed terms. We retest the corrections and affected interactions.
Your Dossier contains the Audit, Accessibility Statement, and Monitoring. The final Audit preserves the original findings and adds the corrections, evidence, and Retest results. The Accessibility Statement describes the verified state and any remaining limitations.
Monitoring runs for 12 months from Dossier delivery.
What the results cover
Results apply to the agreed scope and the Store version evaluated. Later changes to your Store, Shopify, or apps may require further review.
An Audit cannot guarantee that every Accessibility barrier will be found. The results do not certify legal compliance or guarantee permanent conformance or protection from legal claims.
